Waterfront
About the waterfront
The Cascades Club waterfront is located at a beautiful spot on the Gatineau River and is accessible by bike or by foot via the Chelsea Voie Verte.
The waterfront has docks for swimming and launching boats, a shallow area that is ideal for younger swimmers, as well as kayaks, canoes, SUPs, paddles, and some life jackets available for member use when the waterfront is supervised by a staff member or volunteer.
THERE IS NO MEMBER PARKING AT THE WATERFRONT - PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE DOWN without special permission or unless you have mobility issues. Instead, Club members are asked to park their cars at the clubhouse and walk to and from the waterfront.
The waterfront is typically accessible from late May until early October, though weekday access is limited during the hours that our summer camps operate, to help ensure the safety of our campers.
Reservations
During the summer, boat and equipment reservations can be made during the hours that the waterfront is staffed.
In the fall and spring, the Club does not have paid waterfront staff. During those times of year, Club members are welcome to volunteer to open and supervise the boathouse so that members can borrow boats.
