Cascades Club will remain temporarily closed due to extended province-wide lockdown.

This week, the Quebec Government announced an extended province-wide lockdown in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. The lockdown, beginning Saturday, January 9, and lasting for the next four weeks, will include stricter measures, a curfew and also prohibit indoor sports activities during this time. Unfortunately, our club’s gym, squash courts and all indoor facilities will be temporarily closed effective immediately.

We are disappointed to face another setback of this nature; however, the health and safety of our members, our athletes and our staff is of the utmost importance to our club. We understand the seriousness of the situation, and we ask for your patience and cooperation over the next few weeks as we await February 8 and the next announcement from the Premier, at which time the Board of Directors will reconvene to determine when it is safe for Cascades to reopen its doors.

Despite all the challenges of navigating the Covid-19 pandemic, this summer our wonderful staff and volunteers managed to safely offer  a summer camp, as well as sprint paddling programs for both youth and adults.

The Club’s waterfront was opened to member use on weekday evenings and on weekends under the supervision of our helpful waterfront concierge.

A huge thank-you to our staff, our Board of Directors and other hard-working volunteers for making this summer’s programming possible.

And thank-you to all our members for your patience and cooperation during these challenging times.

Fall Paddling has now begun !
