What’s Else is New?
We will be holding two clinics during the summer to give both new and experienced paddlers an opportunity to improve their “catch” and “exit,” with tips and drills to prepare you to try some racing this summer. These are great clinics in smaller groups for those of you who have been paddling for a couple of summers, but aren’t quite sure what is involved in taking it to the next level. Dates are being finalized and will be announced at a future date.
As well, we will be introducing 2-3 “fun paddle” events on during Sunday afternoons in July and August so newbies and seasoned paddlers alike can play some games to help with technique and try a little racing—all in good sport. Watch your club email for more information on this. Non paddlers are also welcome.
Please note all dragon boat paddlers need to be members of the Cascades Club to access the waterfront. More information at www.cascadesclub.ca
